Ingredients
- 3/4 C. Jif Creamy Peanut Butter
- 1/2 C. Crisco Shortening
- 1 1/4 C. firmly packed light brown sugar
- 3 tbsp. milk
- 1 tbsp. vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 3/4 C. AP Flour
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 tsp. baking soda
Method
Step 1
Heat oven to 375. Place sheets of foil on counter top for cooling cookies
Step 2
Comnine Jif, Crisco, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in large bowl. Beat at medium speed until well blended. Add egg. Beat just until blended
Step 3
Combine Flour, salt and baking soda. Add to cremed mixture at low speed. Mix just until blended. Drop by heaping teasponfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet. Flatten slightly in a crisscross pattern with tines of fork dipped in white sugar
Step 4
Bake at 375 for 7 to 8 minutes or until set and just beginning to brown. Cool 2 minutes on baking sheet. Remove cookies to foil and cool completeley
