Ingredients

  • 1 C. Butter
  • 1 1/2 C. Sugar
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3 C. AP Flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 1/2 tsp. cream of tarter

Method

Step 1

Cream together butter and sugar. Add vanilla and eggs; beat til fluffy and set aside. Sift together dry ingredients. Add to butter mixture - mix thoroughly. Chill over night. Roll our on floured dough board. Cut into desired Shapes. Place on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Makes 5-6 dozen
