Ingredients
- 5 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 1/2 teaspoons onion (chopped very fine)
- 2 cups cooked chicken
- 1 teaspoon parsley flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 12oz package REAMES frozen noodles or homemade noodles
- HOMEMADE NOODLES: 3 eggs 1 teaspoon cream of tartar salt 2 drops yellow food coloring 2 cups flour (or until soft dough forms) Place dough into Spaetzle maker and slide in order to drop the noodles into the boiling broth
Method
Step 1
Combine chicken broth, butter, onion, parsley, and chicken. Bring to a rolling boil. Place REAMES (or Homemade noodles) noodles and boil until tender. Or place Spaetzle maker over pot and slide dough across to make noodles drop into the broth.
Step 2
Simmer for 15-20 minutes. Serve hot with garlic toast or in a bread bowl
